In the northwest of Botswana The Okavango Delta spans 15,000 to 20,000 square kilometers, depending on the season. I flew in from Maun on a small plane, looking for animals on the plain. I’d get my first taste of safari from the water, polling a mokoro in the late afternoon as my guide encouraged me from the shore.
Namibia is hands down one of my favorite countries in the world. I rented a car and spent almost a month driving around this wonderful place, in awe at how different each area was.
Antarctica is like no place on earth. I boarded a ship in Ushuaia pointed south. There was no set itinerary. The captain and the expedition leader decided along the way. The main goal was to head as far south as we could in the time alotted.

Having visited El Chalten and El Calafate in Argentina the year before, I decided I wanted to visit Torres del Paine in Chile. Happily, My cousin and niece decided to come along so I wouldn’t have to hike alone.

Oh my first trip to Patagonia I chose to stay in Argentina, visiting the towns of El Calafate and El Chalten and doing day hikes from each.
The trip that really started my nomad life, I booked this after my first African safari. After seeing what COVID did to the world I decided to start YOLOing life. After all, you never know when the next pandemic is going to hit.
What does one do after a week on safari in Kenya and Tanzania? Relax on the beach in Zanzibar.
I began in the expansive Serengeti, spending a few nights before heading to the Ngorongoro Crater and then finishing up in Tarangire, each park offering their own unique experiences.
For my first African safari I chose the classics, the greatest hits, starting in Kenya and then heading to Tanzania. It was nothing short of incredible.
