Kuo Han- Kuang’s Service of Committal
親愛的家屬們，
我們現在依依不捨地送郭大哥到了最後的一站。我能體會我們每一個人內心的愛傷，但我願意以聖經一段的話，安慰郭大哥爱的郭大嫂，郭大哥的弟兄姐妹，郭兒女，與郭大哥的侄兒女：
弟兄們，我告訴你們說，血肉之體不能承受神的國，必朽壞的不能承受不朽壞的。我如今把一件奥秘的事告訴你們：我們不是都要睡覺，乃是都要改變，就在一霎時，眨眼之間，號筒未次吹響的時候。因號筒要響，死人要復活成為不壞的，我們也要改變。這必壞的總要變成不壞的，這必死的總要變成不死的。這必朽壞的既變成不朽壞的，這必死的既變成不死的，那時經上所記「死被得勝吞滅」的話就應驗了。死啊！你得勝的權勢在那裡？死啊！你的毒鉤在那裡？感謝神，使我們藉著我們的主耶穌基督得勝。

禱告：
我們的天父，
你是自有永有的神。
你按著你的智慧與能力創造了宇宙萬物。

求你賜我們信心，讓我們毫無懼怕地將自己以及我們所親愛的郭大哥，交託在你的慈愛恩典中，從今時直到永遠。阿們。
Dear family members,
We are now reluctantly seeing Brother Kuo off to his final destination. I understand the love and sorrow in each of our hearts, but I would like to comfort Brother Kuo's beloved wife, his brothers and sisters, his children, and his nephews and nieces with a passage from the Bible:
Brothers, I tell you, flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, the perishable cannot inherit the imperishable. But I will tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised to immortality, and we ourselves will be changed. The perishable will become imperishable, and the mortal will become immortal. When the perishable has become imperishable, and the mortal has become immortal, then the Scripture that is written, “Death has been swallowed up in victory,” will be fulfilled. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting? Thanks be to God, who gives us victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us pause for a minute to remember our beloved Brother Kuo.
Prayer: Our Heavenly Father,
You are the eternal God.
You created the universe and all things according to Your wisdom and power.
You created us and placed the breath of life within us.
You also love us deeply, giving us eternal life through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
Grant us faith, that we may fearlessly entrust ourselves and our beloved Brother Kuo into Your loving grace, now and forevermore. Amen.
聖經中還有一段的話，是一位有智慧的傳道者，以現實眼光看生命，誠怒說的：
凡事都有定期，天下萬務都有定時。生有時，死有時；栽種有時，拔出所栽種的也有時；殺戮

站在棺木前，面向棺木，向其撒土，說：
親愛的上帝，
我們將你的兒子郭漢光交託在你手中。
我們懷無比的盼望，確信他必靠著我們的主，耶穌基督，復活得永生。
阿們。
請家人來獻花，表示我們對郭大哥由衷的愛與告別。請在獻花後回座。
獻花完畢，牧師致辭：
我代表聖地雅歌華美基督安慰各位。
中國有一句成語：「遠親不如近鄰，」這句成語意指在需要關照時，遠方的親戚不如身邊的鄰居來得即時。它強調平日鄰里間的互助與照顧，遠勝於住得遠的親戚。
我知道在本地有Benjamin 與 Tony 會體貼入微地照顧郭大嫂。
但是不要忘記，我們教會大家庭中的弟兄姐妹是郭大嫂的朋友與晚輩，我們會關懷他，珍愛他。
請家屬們放心地託付給我們。
在我們離去前，我要為眾家屬祝福禱告。請起立。
There is another passage in the Bible, spoken by a wise preacher who viewed life with a realistic perspective, speaking with sincere anger: “There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to uproot; a time to kill and a time to heal; a time to tear down and a time to build; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance; a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them up; a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to throw away; a time to tear and a time to mend; a time to be silent and a time to speak; a time to love and a time to hate; a time for war and a time for peace.
God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart. Yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. But I know that everything God has done will endure forever; nothing will be added to it and nothing taken from it. God does this so that people may fear him.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1-14) Standing before the coffin, facing it, sprinkle dust upon it and say: Dear God,
We entrust your son, Kuo Han-Kuang, into your hands.
With boundless hope and certainty, he will surely have eternal life through the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Family members, please come and offer flowers to express our heartfelt love and farewell to Brother Kuo. Please return to your seats after offering flowers.
After offering flowers, the pastor will give a eulogy:
On behalf of the Holy Land of Solomon, I comfort you all.
There is a Chinese proverb: “A close neighbor is better than a distant relative.” This proverb means that when care is needed, a neighbor nearby is more timely than a distant relative. It emphasizes that daily mutual assistance and care among neighbors far surpasses that of distant relatives.
I know that Benjamin and Tony in this community will take meticulous care of Sister-in-law Kuo.
But let us not forget that the brothers and sisters in our church family are Sister-in-law Kuo’s friends and juniors. We will care for him and cherish him.
Please rest assured that you can entrust your families to us.
Before we depart, I would like to offer my blessings and prayers for all the families. Please stand.

親愛的神，請你保守我們每一位回家的腳步，並賜我們属天的平安。
這醫治、安慰我們心靈的平安，是世界不能給，也是世界不能奪去的平安。

A Blessing for Families: Dear God, please protect each of us on our journey home and grant us heavenly peace.
This peace, which heals and comforts our hearts, is a peace the world cannot give, nor can it take away.
Pour your love into our hearts, helping us to love one another, as you love our loved ones abundantly.
May the Holy Spirit move each of us, enabling us to know and accept the Lord Jesus as our personal Savior, and to receive eternal life.
May God anoint our heads with oil, and our cups overflow. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives, and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all! (Colossians 13:14) Amen.
